Late afternoon view of Star Lake. I found a nice flat spot on one of the big rocks with my pochade box to do some plein air painting. The forest meets the lake’s rocky shore in this view.
We were fortunate to visit our favorite spot in Seguin County last week and I was able to get out with my DIY pochade box that I made from some lovely cigar boxes – thank you Havana Castle Cigars – and paint several times during our stay.
